We are called to live in faith, not fear, while being tempered by wisdom.
As we have returned to in-person, inside gatherings, we all need to be aware of the continued threat of COVID-19. Thankfully, the numbers of cases, hospitalizations, and deaths due to COVID-19 are trending down (for these statistics, click here). At the same time, the risk remains real.
As we’ve always done since the beginning of the pandemic, we are attempting to create safe venues to gather while also making them as positive experiences as possible. With those goals in mind, we will continue to make available hand sanitizer, provide a socially-distant seating arrangement, and employ individual communion packets.
There is no risk-free environment in our fallen world, even under the best of circumstances. Those who are in high-risk categories whether due to age or underlying health conditions (or both), we urge you to consider prayerfully whether or not you should attend a larger gathering. We will continue to livestream the worship service for those who remain home. Additionally, weather permitting, we will offer an outdoor, in-person option to watch the livestream with others. After much prayer, each family needs to make responsible decisions for itself, and for those who may be affected by those decisions.
We praise God that vaccines are becoming increasingly available, which are contributing to the downward trend of cases. While the end of the pandemic may be in sight, we all need to continue to be vigilant, not only for our own sake, but for the sake of others.
May God bless and keep you and your family in his care,
The Leadership

CrossBridge Family,
The CrossBridge shepherds recognize what a unique and challenging time this is for each of us individually and in community as a church family.
We want to thank our staff for continuing such excellent work in connecting with and encouraging all of us during this extraordinary past couple of weeks.
Through phone calls, emails, social media and live and recorded videos, we are using the gift of technology in creative ways to stay connected and encouraged in our shared faith.
Our sovereign God is at work even in the most difficult circumstances. It is our prayer that CrossBridge continues to grow in love together and that we emerge stronger than ever when these challenging times are behind us.
How are you most impacted by this time of national distress?
Are you…Sick? Afraid? Anxious? In need of food or supplies? Struggling financially? Questioning God? Struggling with your faith? Your shepherds want you to know we are here with prayer, encouragement and service in the name of our Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ.
We love you and are proactively working to determine the physical and spiritual needs of our CrossBridge family. Please let any one of us know what we can do to bring help and peace to you and your families as we all “bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ” (Gal. 6:2).
We hope to find even more creative methods of learning and sharing together as a family, and we look forward to seeing each of you again very soon!
We love you with the love of Christ,
CrossBridge Shepherds
