Our mission is to show every child and family the extraordinary love of Christ. We aim to provide curriculum, programming, and discipleship that grounds children in the truth of God’s word, helps them to understand sin and their need for a Savior, leads them to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, helps them to understand each part of the Trinity, teaches them the importance of obedience to God, teaches them how God wants us to live as Christians in our world, creates disciples who will confidently carry the message of Christ to the world, and allows them to use their gifts to serve.
Our goal in CB Kids is to create disciples who are equipped to minister to the world by being an example of Christ and sharing His love with others. We believe children must become grounded in the Word so they will see the world through a Christian lens. We help them develop a personal relationship with Christ and to understand the gifts they have been given. We do this through real life application of Bible lessons, partnering with parents, and providing support for families both at church and at home.
It is our desire that your child feels the love of Christ every time he/she walks in our doors! We want each child to fall in love with Jesus, to become grounded in God’s word, and to understand that God gave us a helper, the Holy Spirit. We desire that, ultimately, our children will become courageous disciples for Christ. We do this by partnering with parents and children to provide unique ways for our children to engage in learning, worshiping, and serving.
Sundays
Sunday mornings, we provide children’s classes beginning at 9:30 for all children K-5th grade. In class they have fun learning and getting into the Word together. We use the Dig In Curriculum from Group. During the worship service, we have a dynamic Kid’s Worship where children sing, participate in crafts and skits, and learn what it means to truly worship God and why He is worthy of our praise.
Wednesdays
Wednesday evenings, we provide a children’s BLAST class for all ages from 6:30-7:30 where we walk through various Bible topics throughout the year.
Events
Events, mission projects, and activities take place throughout the year and are focused on providing fellowship, outreach activities and events that support families inside and outside the church. We have VBS in the summer, family bonding events, A Night in Bethlehem, and much more. We also have our Son Servants program for 4th-5th graders which provides opportunities for students to tangibly use their gifts to serve in a variety of areas in the church.
VOLUNTEER Opportunities
We have many Volunteer Opportunities for parents as well! If you are interested in serving as a Sunday school leader, VBS Leader, or just helping out when you can, please let us know! We will be happy to plug you in.
