The mission of small groups at CrossBridge is to participate in Christ-centered community and spiritual formation.
As broken people who are being renewed in Christ, we strive to learn from Jesus how to love one another in community well. We recognize that not everyone is in the same place nor do we all have the same specifics needs. We do believe, however, that we all share a fundamental desire to be loved and to be known. To us, our small groups are ways we are attempting to live that out. In fact, for us our small groups are not another church program; they are a way we live as the church.
Whether you are new or have been with us a long time, there are several opportunities for you to connect. We have several ongoing small groups that meet across the city at various times and places. We also have introduced the Rooted Experience at CrossBridge this last year- a ten week discipleship experience that helps participants engage the story of God, and their own story, in committed community. The Rooted Experience
In 2023 we introduced a discipleship initiative called the Rooted Experience - a 10 week discipleship experience which seeks to create pathways for people to become more like Christ. Through simple yet profound spiritual practices in community, it is designed to help anyone take clear steps forward in their life with God. Whether you are a new Christian or have walked with Jesus for a long time, this experience will help you know God and others at CrossBridge in a more robust way.
In our small groups you can expect to find:
- A space to wrestle with and study the Scriptures
- A community who loves God and each other
- An opportunity to grow together in following Christ
- A place to share the journey of life with all its joys and struggles
- A people formed and shaped by the power of prayer and the Holy Spirit
- Unique opportunities to read and reflect on various books and topics
